Frederick Woods was arrested in 1976 after becoming a key suspect in the kidnapping of a bus full of 5 to 14 years old kids in Chowchilla, California. He did one of the largest kidnappings in America. He was a part of a rich family but he did all this because of his self-imposed loneliness and the fear that he did not measure up to his father’s expectations.
He was so frustrated by these thoughts that he sometimes used to threaten people with his shotgun who trespass him. Frederick was born with a silver spoon and there was no shortage of wealth in his life.

Out of three one put the gun on the driver’s head and one drove the bus. They drove the bus 100 miles away from Chowchilla towards Livermore.
The next day on July 16 all three kidnappers forced the kids and driver to step down in a dig through a ladder. In the dig, kidnappers have already stacked a truck with a small amount of food, water, and mattresses.
Later kids and drivers became successful in getting out of the dig and ran away when the kidnappers were in sleep. At that time Kidnappers demanded $5 million USD. Soon after this, all three kidnappers were captured by the police.
